No Logo

No Logo is a photographic work that exploring the degree of which consumerism has affected us. Presented here are the photographs taken within cityscape, where the boundary between living residential and consumerism culture which presented in the form of advertisement, is no longer clear. By removing the logos and messages on the billboards, I’ve defeated the main purpose of these visual presentations. What once insignias that separate one place to another, now being stripped down, leaving blocks of colors and blank canvases behind, along with series of eerie familiar architectures that the audience can still recognize from years of being fed through television, Internet and consuming their product on daily basis.
