Baker Artist Info Sessions 

Learn about the Baker Artist Portfolios, Awards, and adjudication • ask questions • hear tips and pointers • get how-to instructions...

Baker Artist Info Sessions feature a presentation from Creative Alliance Staff with a detailed program overview as well as guidance and instructions on using the site. Whenever possible, a past awardee will join the conversation to offer insight and tips on presenting yourself as an artist and creating a strong portfolio.

Info sessions are approximately 90 minutes in length, including time for questions. Both in person and virtual sessions are available over the 2026/2027 season.

Baker Artist Office Hours

These are informal and social in-person opportunities to pose your questions to members of the Baker team, get technical help in a group setting, and/or work on your portfolio alongside other artists.

We recommend attending a Baker Artist Info Session or reviewing the recorded version prior to attending Office Hours.

These 30-minute sessions provide one-on-one hands-on technical assistance or feedback for artists on their individual portfolios. Both virtual and in-person sessions will be available by signup beginning in December.
